Giant Springs -

The little green patch in the
bend of the Missouri River
is Giant Springs, where a
large gush of fresh water
erupts from the earth,
supplying the North Fork Roe,
the world's shortest river,
58 feet long.
The brown hues along the slate
stream are miles and miles of
extremely subtle beauty.
Perhaps you had to be there,
I was, and so were
Lewis and Clark and my family,
but not at the same time
of course.
