Terry Sasser’s debut Americana album, Beans & Wine,
is an accumulation of a lifetime of stories skillfully
woven. His deep, gravelly voice resonate his tales of
lives, lies, loves, and truths. His musicality echoes his
sentiment that “it is a hard yet often funny world out
there.” In this captivating and talented album he strives
to capture the beauty of a bittersweet life in his original
and vibrant songs that incorporate a blend of folk,
country and blues.

Although born and raised in Texas, Terry has lived
across the states, the UK, Europe and Asia where the
wide world of people and their stories come together.
Terry started writing and performing decades ago, and
has shared the stage with many artists to include Ray
Wylie Hubbard, Gary Nunn, Stephen Webber, Jon Ims
and Sam Baker. Terry is a unique and enigmatic
individual. Upon meeting him you might think him to be
a wanted man, a train robber, or perhaps a
neurosurgeon, a mad scientist, or the wild, unruly artist
he is, living in a cave throwing paint on the walls. He
must certainly be all of these.

Terry’s innate ability to pull stories from the thin lines of
life is fascinating. “Life has been my proverbial stage,
and I have never stopped writing and playing music. It is
the brick and mortar of my soul.” Listeners can hear his
passion, vision and acumen resonate in this album, and
quite hopefully many more to come.
